The Toshiba AC100 is a mini-laptop with an NVIDIA Tegra chipset, 3G modem, and Google Android operating system. Right now it ships with Android 2.1. That is, it ships with Android 2.1 in the very small number of countries where it does ship, including Japan and the UK

Smudges and all, HP’s upcoming Zeen tablet has been photographed in the wild. The Android-powered tablet is set to ship in the coming months as part of a bundle with the Zeus photo printer. As you can see in the image (with some squinting, of course), there’s an unsurprising emphasis on print apps including offerings from HP themselves, MSNBC, 60 Minutes, Dreamworks, and Yahoo

The Archos 101 is the largest and most powerful new Android tablet from Archos . It has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen display, a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, and HDMI output. Yet this tablet measures just 0.47 inches thick and weighs just under a pound.

There’s no shortage of portable speaker sets designed for laptops, because let’s face it — most netbooks have pretty lousy built in speakers. There’s not really that much setting Dell’s new PS511 USB Sound Bar apart from the crowd aside from the fact that it’s clearly designed with Dell netbooks in mind, blending quite nicely into the top of the laptop. The speakers offer 2 Watt output and come with a hard shell carrying case.

The HP Mini 5103 is the latest business-class netbook from Hewlett Packard. Physically it looks almost exactly like the HP Mini 5101 and 5102 which precede it. The primary difference is that in the US the netbook is only available in a new dark brown “espresso” color

NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chipset combines a low power dual core ARM-based processor with powerful graphics capabilities. The result is a low power platform that can handle 3D graphics and HD video playback. So far we’ve seen the Tegra 2 chipset in the Toshiba AC100 smartbook and upcoming Toshiba Folio 100 tablet, but not much else

Samsung has a strong track record of producing low power, high performance ARM-based chips for smartphones and other mobile devices. The company’s 1GHz Hummingbird CPU is one of the fastest ARM chips on the market right now.

Sears.com is now offering at least 3 inexpensive Android tablets that appear to be based on designs we’ve seen from Chinese electronics makers. Sears isn’t actually offering the tablets in stores, and the web site says they’re actually sold by a third party distributor called Tech Galore. But if you’re in the market for a 7 to 10 inch Android tablet for $130 to $250, it looks like there’s a new shopping option — although I might hold out on placing orders until I’ve seen some customer reviews

The Asus Eee PC 1201K is a 12 inch mini-laptop which looks a lot like other Asus notebooks such as the Eee PC 1201N or Asus UL20A. But while those machines have Intel chips, the Eee PC 1201K has a low power AMD Geode processor. Specifically, the Eee PC 1201K has a 1.4GHz AMD Geode NX1750 processor
