I wanted to take a moment to let you know about a new web site I’ve just launched, called mobiputing . As you can probably guess from the name, mobiputing is and will continue to be a sister site to Liliputing.

Asus Eee Box EB202 with Linux selling for $190 at Newegg

Asus has pretty much stopped offering its netbooks and nettops with Linux preloaded. Instead, most of the company’s products come with Windows XP or Windows 7. But retailer Newegg is selling a first generation Asus Eee Box EB2020 nettop with Red Flag Linux , a Chinese Linux distribution that’s designed to look an awful lot like Windows XP .

Lenovo IdeaPad U150 may be getting the WiMAX treatment

It looks like Lenovo may be planning to add a WiMAX option to the IdeaPad U150  inch thin and light notebook. Wireless Goodness spotted an FCC filing for the U150 with an internal wielress card that would support WiMAX mobile broadband as well as 802.11b/g/n WiFi.

Apple iPhone SDK 3.2 Beta 4 for iPad Launched

Apple have launched the next beta for the Apple iPhone 3.2 SDK. This version has been launched two weeks after the previous version and will probably include a few fixes as well as features ready for the iPad launch next month. It is unknown at the moment what Apple AAPL have done on this update although developers will probably be looking right now, so expect details in the next 24 hours

It seems like everybody and their kid brother has a new nettop with next-generation NVIDIA ION graphics to show these days. So how do you set your super-slim and tiny desktop PC apart from the crowd? Simple.

HP Mini 5102 now available with 1.83GHz CPU

As expected , HP is now offering customers the option of configuring the HP Mini 5102 business netbook with a 1.83GHz Intel Atom processor . The processor upgrade is only $25, but there’s a slight catch — it’s not available on any of HP’s “ Smart Buy ” configurations. And that means you’ll end up paying at least $543 to purchase the HP Mini 5102 with an Atom N470 processor if you go through the HP web site

Deal of the Day: HP Mini Netbooks go on Sale

Several HP netbooks have gone on sale over at Amazon today that see the various models dropping in price in some cases by over $100. Included in the sale are eight variants of the HP Mini 210 series with a ninth being on sale which is the HP Mini 311.

iPhone Tekken Confirmed

With the launch of Streetfighter IV for the iPhone and iPod Touch, along comes the news that another classic is heading to the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. This time Tekken is going to be launched by Namco. When speaking with Pocket Gamer about iPhone Tekken, the anonymous source said that the game was far along in development and looking good.

Gran Turismo 5 PS3 Trailer Launched

Although we are still waiting, after a few years even, for Gran Turismo 5 to officially launch, for now we just have to put up with teaser videos. The latest is called “Nights” and comes from a game disk that recently launched and shows a number of impressive tracks, cars and scenery.
